When I left home for college at age 16, I would have never imagined that my professional life would be spent on Wall Street and in the financial services industry.

After graduating college, I began working for a large reinsurance company in accounting and operations and realized I liked client service, operations, and accounting. I applied for a position at E.F. Hutton servicing new accounts and assisting brokers with their day-to-day operations.

E.F. Hutton recruited me for their prestigious Operations Management Training Program. Upon completion of this, I landed a position in their new Unit Investment Trust Department.

I progressed from UIT trader, to Assistant Head Trader and eventually I managed the UIT trading desk. Ten years passed very quickly. I decided to take some time off from work to expand and raise my family. Three children and two dogs later, I looked for more to do.

Volunteering became a big part of my life. Over the years, I was a member of various boards including the Parents Association, the Pool and Tennis Club, Jewish Community Center and our synagogue.

I returned to work part-time in 1996 and over the next nine years held several positions: I ran a small business out of my home, worked part time for a commercial real estate company and got my insurance license.

In 2005, HTG was looking to hire. It was a great re-entry for me into the financial services industry. It was not long before I was once again taking my licensing exams.

Now as Client Services Manager at HTG, I have returned to the work I loved at the beginning of my career, working full time to meet our clients’ servicing needs.

When I am not in the office, you can often find me spending time on the beach in Fairfield, CT. I enjoy qigong, reading, hiking and mahjong. My creative side is expressed doing calligraphy, lettering and art journaling.
