My husband and I became clients of HTG in 2005 when we moved to the East Coast from San Francisco. As busy professionals starting to save for retirement, we didn’t have the time or energy to manage our assets.

The advisors at HTG helped us invest our small but growing portfolio and focus on saving for our children’s educations, which freed up time for us to spend with our young children.

When we first joined HTG as clients, I was working as a corporate attorney in the Silicon Valley and New York offices of the global law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.  I joined WSGR in 2000 after obtaining a JD/MBA from Northwestern University in Chicago.

During my ten years at WSGR, I combined my passion for law and business by counseling and advising entrepreneurs, technology companies, and venture capital firms.

My career path was upended when my husband accepted an expat assignment, and we relocated our family to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for three years. I took a sabbatical from work and planned trips to 25+ countries, sparking my family’s insatiable travel bug.

When we returned to the US, I was ready to reenter the working world. And, I realized that what I missed most about my professional life was advising clients and problem solving.

At HTG, I counsel clients on achieving their financial goals, avoiding costly financial mistakes, and prioritizing spending and savings, much as HTG helped my family.

My objective is to serve as my client’s trusted financial partner and delegate – helping to save them time, acting as their sounding board, and guiding them through life’s many transitions – so that my client can focus on what is important to them.

I obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®  in 2018.  Additionally, I utilize my professional experience in the community as part of the Fairfield County Community Foundation’s Rising Professionals Council and as a board member at New Canaan Cares and New Canaan Squash.

My husband and I live in New Canaan with our two teenagers. If I am not in the office, you will probably find me with my family on the water in Newport, RI, playing tennis, traveling, or walking our dog, Taz.
