Advisor

Certified Public Accountant (Connecticut and New York)
Personal Financial Specialist™ (AICPA)
My journey to becoming a financial advisor was not a direct path, but it led me to something I find incredibly fulfilling—helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. I began college considering three majors: accounting, finance, and landscape architecture. I ultimately chose accounting because it provided a good foundation of analytical skills and business knowledge. But much like my hobby of landscape design, I’ve discovered that creating lasting financial success requires careful planning, thoughtful design, and the patience to let things grow.
After earning both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, I launched my career in audit and assurance. When I obtained my CPA license in 2010 while at PricewaterhouseCoopers, I discovered my desire to work more directly with individuals rather than corporations.
In 2013, I joined Kahan, Steiger & Company in Stamford, specializing in income, trust, estate, and gift tax planning and compliance. My growing interest in holistic financial planning motivated me to pursue the AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) credential, allowing me to take a more comprehensive approach to client service. By 2022, I had earned a partner position at Kahan Steiger, but I realized I wanted to offer clients more than tax advice.
During my years as a tax advisor, I witnessed firsthand how HTG collaborated with our mutual clients. I was impressed by the firm’s independent, fee-only fiduciary approach that seamlessly integrates financial planning with investment management. This model resonated deeply with me because it ensures unbiased expert advice that always prioritizes the client’s best interests.
When I learned that HTG was expanding its team, I eagerly seized the opportunity. Joining HTG has enabled me to offer comprehensive financial planning, helping clients achieve both their immediate and long-term financial goals. Now I help clients design their complete financial future.
The most rewarding part of my role as an advisor is partnering with clients and sharing in the joy of seeing them achieve their financial milestones.
Outside of my role at HTG, I am an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County and the Fairfield County Community Foundation’s Rising Professionals Council.
My wife and I reside in Wilton with our two young sons. Outside of the office, I enjoy playing tennis, snowboarding, and spending time with my family.
